Rockfall Netting



Description:

Placing double twist mesh rolls is an operation generally performed on faces or slopes close to the vertical and sometimes of considerable height. Although placing of the mesh may vary from site to site, the work may be reduced to four main phases.

1. Preparation of the surface tobe blanketed (removal of loose rock particles, barring down).
2. Placing the netting over the surface to be protected by lifting the rolls to the top of the face and then unrolling them.
3. Fixing the netting to the wall and tying them.
4. Final fastening of the net at the top, foot and if necessary the face.

Rockfall Netting is ecological wire mesh gabion netting which is used to prevent rocks from falling onto the road, railways and other structures. The mesh is made of galvanized or PVC coated double twisted steel woven wire in acc.with STM A641and EN10223-3. Due to the unravelling character of double twist, the mesh can withstand huge forces and will not unravel even if a wire is broken. Rockfall protection netting with a PVC coating can be used in aggressive environments. In addition to galvanization, the steel wire is coated with a PVC layer of a nominal thickness of 0.50 mm. The technical characteristics and the resistance of the PVC to aging meet the relevant standards.

Stiffened Hexagonal Wire Mesh



Description:
Stiffened hexagonal wire mesh add straight wire or vertical direction or parallel to the direction of knitting direction in the woven process. The tensile strength of stiffened ecological wire mesh gabion is higher than ordinary hexagonal mesh, the stiffened wire is generally not less than the side wire diameter. When install the roadbed, especially under higher basis stress , it can absorb and fundamentally weaken tensile stress value of cracks. The main materials of stiffened hexagonal mesh are electrical galvanized wire, hot-dipped galvanized wire and PVC coatd wire. And the surface treatments include hot-dipped galvanized,electro galvanized and PVC coated.

Plastic Coated Heavy Hexagonal Wire Mesh








Description:
Plastic coated heavy hexagonal wire mesh is made with high quality low-carbon steel wire and PVC coated wire as raw materials. The tensile strength of steel wire is 38kg/M2. And the wire diameter may reach 2.0mm-4.0mm. Compare with other common heavy hexagonal wire netting, plastic coated heavy hexagonal wire mesh is made of pvc coated wire and galvanized wire that offer longer service life and better corrosion resistance. It can be made into gabion box which used in control and guide of water or flood, protecting flood bank or guiding bank, preventing of rock breaking, water and soil protection, bridge protection, strengthening structure of soil, protection engineering of seaside area, seaport engineering, isolation walls and so on.
Surface treatment: galvanized and PVC coated. Before plastic coated, the steel wire is usually galvanized.

Description:
Galvanized heavy hexagonal ecological wire mesh gabion is also called gabion mesh, it is made from high grade steel wire through twisting and braiding by machine. This kind of wire netting is mainly used in supporting and protecting of side slope, as mountain rock hanging mesh, as green guard rail netting on side slope and highway guard rail netting. Heavy hexagonal mesh also can be worked into stone cage or stone cushion, and used in reservoir, river or dyke for closure.

The diameter of the ecological wire mesh gabion has normally two types: 2.7 or 3.0 mm. The gabion element is in the shape of block or regular cube size. These special wire bins are made of robust wire, filled with the vibrations at the quarry and transport are accompanied by the lifting straps.

Hexagonal Gabion



Description:
Hexagonal gabion, high quality low carbon steel wire, galvanized wire and PVC coated wire, is a cages, cylinders, or boxes filled with soil or sand that are used in civil engineering, road building, and military application. Gabions are wire fabric container uniformly partitioned, of variable size, interconnected with other similar containers and filled with stone at the site of use, to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures such as retaining walls,sea walls, channel linings, revetments and weirs for earth retention. For hexagonal gabion mesh with no pvc coating, the gabion wire diameter ranges from 2.0mm to 4.0mm. For those PVC coated hexagonal gabion mesh, the outside diameter ranges from 3.0mm to 4.0mm. The wire of the outside frame edge is one wire gauge thicker than the wire used for hexagonal gabion mesh.

Woven Mesh Gabion Box








Description:
Woven ecological gabion mesh boxes are hexagonal and double-twisted wire-mesh structures.
The gabion boxes are divided into chambers by inserting diaphragms into every meter. The wire used for making the boxes is thickly plated mild steel. The gabion units are delivered to the site flat-packed.

The double-twisted mesh connections of the woven mesh prevent from coming apart if the wire is cut or snaped, in each case, the location of the fault is restricted to the neighbouring areas. The units are attached to each other when using stitching wire and/or staples.
